An extension of resource to complement solutions from Linda's book "What Next?..
A Survival Guide to the 21st Century
 

To stay alive is to survive. What really counts is how we survive, and how long. The phrase "on your own terms" implies surviving well... a rich life of one's personal design. My husband Dick and I have decided to launch a project, as adjunct to my book, to provide additional resources and ideas addressing your, and our, needs in facing and surviving crises that are likely to come our way. There is truly opportunity in crisis... and that plays no small part in this endeavor.

Here we intend to build a growing resource of ideas and links relating to...  the basics of air, food, shelter, warmth, and water... the more complex considerations of finance, investing, income production, home location, house design ideas, handling emergencies of all kinds, energy sources, attitudes and philosophies, children, getting along with others, etc., etc.. Shortly, once we develop a good start, you will be invited to contribute in the spirit of "we're all in this together, and we are here to help each other".

Fate deals harshly with the unprepared and the clueless.
